Shipyard history
Cantieri Navali del Tevere (CNT) is an historical naval shipyard of Roman’s sea and a reference for the yachting industry of Lazio region from 1964. From then the core business was the refit of historic wood boats. However, Cantieri Navali del Tevere always focused his view on innovation and so now is specialized also on the refit of fiberglass, alluminum alloy and steel boats.
High standard refit
As example, in 1990 CNT was choosed to reassemble an historic 1919 boat, her name Cintra whose project was by William Fife. In 2007, Cantieri Navali del Tevere receive the task to refit Paolucci, a Picchiotti 30 m. 1970 that was until 1985 the official yacht of Italian State President.
Mustang Marine
Thanks to this experience in 2005 CNT launch on the market a new brand: Mustang Marine. First model, a Mustang 38’, goes over the tradition and represent a perfect mix between handcraft quality and performance. The “handcraft quality” is assured by workers aware of their knowledge, by company mission such as by a hull that has no problem to support the high power engines and the surface transmission Jolly Drive also in rough water conditions.
44knots of maximum speed and only 80 liters per hour consumption at cruise speed are no more words or comments characteristics. In the last years, Mustang Marine become an international success and Cantieri Navali del Tevere grow his refit activity up to become known in the world for his design capability, precision and attention to details.
